Inspection Group The abbreviation "กตร." (KTR) defines the work and responsibilities as follows:

1. The structure and functions of the Inspection Support Section, Office of the Department Secretary, should be improved. The restructuring and functions of the Inspection Support Section, Office of the Department Secretary, should be changed to establish an Inspection Group, reporting directly to the Director-General or a Deputy Director-General designated by the Director-General, with the following duties and responsibilities:
   1. Study and analyze policies, strategies, and five-year operational plans, and other plans related to the Department of Water Resources, in order to prepare the annual inspection plan, and integrated plans with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.
   2. To support the work of the Department's inspectors in monitoring the implementation of government policies, the policies of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, and the policies of the Department of Water Resources.
   3. Support the Department's inspectors in investigating facts and resolving issues arising from public complaints or requests for assistance, as assigned.
   4. Its function is to promote, support, and coordinate the administrative work of central government agencies established in the regions.
   5. Developing an inspection system and inspection database for the department's inspectors.
   6. Collaborate with or support the operations of other relevant or assigned agencies.
